Multi gap coating machineDesigned for evenly coating paint, adhesives, and similar products on flat substrates. They have the advantages of high precision with fixed gaps and diversity in multi gap/groove coating. This applies to water-based, acidic, and alkaline products.

The high precision of multiple gaps with fixed gaps and the diversity of multiple gap/groove coatings have advantages.

Operation steps:

-Place the substrate to be coated on a smooth paper

-Place the required gap depth on the substrate

-Pour paint onto the front end of the pulling direction

-Pull down at a uniform speed (about 25mm/second)

-After the coating is completed, immediately put it into diluted cleaning solvent and wash it with a brush

How to choose the appropriate one

Strip coating is the highest quality applicator. Because of its simple design, sturdy structure, and easy cleaning and maintenance. Theoretical wet film thickness etching on all stripes. The theoretical wet film thickness is approximately half of the actual groove gap. If the groove gap is 6mils, then the theoretical wet film thickness etched on the strip is 3mils. We cannot guarantee that the film thickness you apply is the theoretical wet film thickness indicated, as the coating process is affected by many factors. The actual wet film thickness may be between 50% and 90% of the groove, depending on the size of the strip-shaped groove.

Dow Latex

This U-shaped design is used to apply a second coat of paint on top of the already cured * coat, while the two ends can remain on the surface of the uncoated board. The gap depth and coating width on one side of Dow are greater than those on the other side.

Apply paint within the U-shaped channel: When pulled, the paint is held within the channel, creating a fixed width.
