This inverted microscope comes with three types of main frames: manual, coded, or electric. The fully electric mainframe can expand instrument performance through electric focusing (z-axis control) and automatic component recognition. TFT touch screen is convenient for input and monitoring, as well as for operating the entire microscope.

The Axio Observer inverted microscope provides all relevant observation methods for transmitted and reflected light: reflected light field, dark field, polarization, and fluorescence, as well as new observation methods such as C-DIC (circularly polarized differential interference phase difference), which is a structured contrast polarization detection technique.
