This chromatographic column is an ideal choice for the reproducible separation of proteins and peptides for two main reasons. *For effective separation of proteins and peptides or other macromolecules, a macroporous 300 Å chromatographic column is necessary to ensure that these analytes are completely passed through the bonded stationary phase. Secondly, the stability of this chromatographic column under low pH conditions is good, such as using trifluoroacetic acid containing a mobile phase commonly used for separating proteins and peptides. For LC/MS separation under low pH conditions, this chromatographic column can also use formic acid and acetic acid mobile phase modifiers. These chromatography columns can be used for protein and peptide selectivity and recovery optimization in four different bonded stationary phases (C18, C8, C3, and cyano). In order to further increase the sample recovery rate of different proteins and improve separation efficiency, this chromatographic column can be used in the range of up to 80/90 ℃. The 300SB-C18 and 300SB-C8 chromatography columns are ideal choices for separating complex proteins and protein digestates. These chromatographic columns have sizes of capillary columns (inner diameters of 0.3mm and 0.5mm) and nanoflow columns (inner diameters of 0.075mm and 0.10mm) for the reverse phase LC/MS separation of these protein digestates. These capillary and nanoflow columns can be used for one-dimensional or two-dimensional proteomics separation.

The 300 SB chromatographic column is designed for optimal use under low pH conditions. At pH 6-8, operating temperature<40 ℃, and using a low concentration buffer solution with a concentration range of 0.01-0.02M, the column stability of all silica gel primary color spectral columns reached the best. For medium or high pH ranges, it is recommended to use 300Extend C18.
