ZLDSeries intelligent radar level gaugeHigh frequency microwave pulses are transmitted and received through an antenna system, and radar waves travel at the speed of light. The travel time can be converted into level signals through electronic components. A special time extension method can ensure stable and accurate measurements in a very short period of time.
ZLDThe series of intelligent radar level gauges can measure a maximum distance of 35 meters and can be used for level measurement of storage tanks, intermediate buffer tanks, or process containers, outputting 4-20mA analog signals. The radar level gauge antenna emits extremely narrow microwave pulses, which propagate at the speed of light in space. When they hit the surface of the measured medium, some of their energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between transmitting and receiving pulses is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. Due to the extremely high propagation speed of electromagnetic waves, it is difficult to confirm the time interval between the emitted pulse and the received pulse, which is very small (in the nanosecond range). The RTUL series radar level gauge adopts a special correlation demodulation technology, which can accurately identify the time interval between the transmitted pulse and the received pulse, and further calculate the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.
