Although this model has a single column, the flexibility of its cross arm rotation through needle roller bearings is the same as that of a double column, and its stability is better. The biggest feature of this machine tool is that the spindle stroke is much longer than that of a typical rocker drill, which meets the needs of drilling deep holes.
Z3040X10(Export type)A radial drilling machine is composed of a chassis, columns, cross arms, spindle box, lifting box, work platform, etc. The transverse arm of the rocker drilling machine can rotate 360 degrees around the column and can also move vertically along the column with a stroke of up to 1000mm. The spindle box can move left and right along the guide surface of the transverse arm. Therefore, the main characteristics of the rocker drilling machine are strong applicability, wide applicability, and suitability for processing larger workpieces
The disadvantage of rocker drills is that due to the large number of joint surfaces, the rigidity and accuracy of the machine tool are slightly poor.
Z3040X10(Export type)Operating procedures for rocker drilling machine:
1. When processing, it is strictly prohibited to wear gloves, and the workpiece clamping should be firm. When drilling small parts, flat pliers or tool clamps should be used to clamp them, and the drill should not be held by hand.
2. When drilling on the machine, do not touch, flip, press or measure with your hands.
3. No one is allowed to stand within the rotation range of the arm of the rocker drill, and the arm should be tightly clamped.
4. Under the crossbeam and on the workbench, no debris or obstacles are allowed.
5. When using automatic cutting, adjust the limit block and manually feed without excessive force.
6. When there are long iron shavings on the drill bit, stop and use an iron hook to remove them. Do not blow or pull them by hand.
The rocker drilling machine is mainly composed of a base, inner column, outer column, rocker arm, spindle box, and worktable.
Disassembly sequence of main components of rocker drilling machine:
(1) Cut off the power and remove all motors and related electrical components.
(2) Remove the spindle box from the right end of the rocker arm.
(3) Support or stabilize the rocker arm, and remove the lifting mechanism.
(4) Lift out the rocker arm.
(5) Hang the outer pillar.
(6) Remove the inner pillar from the base.
(7) Remove the base (if it is repaired in place or does not require surface planing, it is not necessary to remove the foundation).
