The YG series roller conveyor with three-phase asynchronous motor is an updated product that replaced the JG2 series motor in China in the 1990s, and its main performance indicators exceed the level of the JG2 series.
The installation dimensions of YG series motors comply with IEC standards, with a shell protection level of IP54, cooling method of IC0041, rated voltage of 380V, rated power of 50Hz, H-class insulation, and stator winding using Y-connection method.
The YG series electric motors are divided into two forms according to their applications: YGa and YGb. The YGa type electric motor operates based on the intermittent cycle working system (S5), and can frequently start, brake, or reverse. It has the characteristics of large locked rotor torque, small locked rotor current, long locked rotor time, high dynamic constant, and soft mechanical characteristics. It is mainly used to drive the working roller table of the metallurgical industry alone, and can also be used for other similar machinery. The power in Table 3 is the power design value of the YGa type electric motor at continuous rating, for reference only; The YGb type electric motor operates based on the continuous working system (S1) and has the characteristics of high power, high efficiency, wide frequency conversion speed range, and hard mechanical properties. It is mainly used to drive the conveyor rollers of the metallurgical industry separately, and can also be used for other similar machinery.
This series of motors can be made into YGP roller conveyor dedicated variable frequency motors, with frequencies ranging from 3Hz to 99Hz, but specific parameters vary with different frequencies.
