XNR400D Melt Flow Rate Tester

1、 Purpose:

The XNR400D melt flow rate meter complies with the GB/T 3682 standard for determining the mass flow rate and volume flow rate of thermoplastic melts. It is used to measure the flowability of thermoplastic polymers at high temperatures, such as polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP, resin ABS, polycarbonate PC, nylon PA6 and other plastic raw materials. This product is widely used in industries such as plastic raw material production plants, plastic product factories, petrochemical companies, as well as relevant colleges, research institutes, and quality inspection units.

2、 Characteristics:

The instrument is controlled by a 7-inch full-color touch screen and displays Chinese characters. Automatic temperature control, automatic cutting, real-time display of various test curves, with micro printing data function, can be used separatelyDisplay and PrintUp to eight pieces of experimental data and the average value of each section's results can also achieve "time controlled cutting and displacement cutting".

The XNR-400D melt flow rate meter has two measurement methods, MFR and MVR, and has the function of melt density testing.

IIIWorking principle

The XNR400D melt flow rate meter is a plastic extrusion instrument. It uses a high-temperature heating furnace to bring the measured substance to a molten state under specified temperature conditions. The test substance in this molten state is extruded through a small hole of a certain diameter under a specified load. In plastic production, the melt index is commonly used to represent the physical properties such as flowability and viscosity of polymer materials in a molten state. The so-called melt mass flow rate refers to the average weight of each section of the extruded sample converted into 10 minutes of extrusion volume.
