The XLE series Dow FILMTEC membrane has been introduced to the market as a reverse osmosis membrane element for tap water. The original XLE series RO membrane from Dow in the United States is used to meet the highest water production quality and lowest total system cost requirements of commercial customers. This membrane is a commercial reverse osmosis membrane element with the characteristics of wide application, low price, high desalination, and high water production.

2、 Product specifications
1. The above test values are based on the following test conditions: 500ppm NaCl, 100psi (15.5 bar), 77 ℉ (25 ℃), pH 8, 15% recovery rate.
2. The water production of a single component may vary within a range of+/-20%.
3. The minimum desalination rate is 98.0%.
4. After product updates, performance specifications may change. Operating Limits
• Membrane type: Polyamide composite membrane
• Maximum operating temperature 113 ℉ (45 ℃)
• Maximum operating pressure 600 PSI (41 bar)
• Maximum pressure drop of 15 PSI (1.0 bar)
• pH range, continuous operation a 2-11, short-term cleaning (30 minutes) b 1-13
• Maximum water supply SDI15 5
• Maximum feedwater turbidity NTU 1
• Allow free chlorine content c<0.1 ppm
When pH>10, the maximum allowable temperature for continuous operation is 95 ℉ (35 ℃).
Refer to the cleaning guidelines in specification 609-23010.
Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidants can cause premature degradation and damage to the membrane. Due to the fact that oxidative damage is beyond the warranty scope of Dow film, FilmTec recommends that users remove residual free chlorine through pre-treatment before it comes into contact with the film.
