Common methods and characteristics of high-speed mixing granulators:
Granulation methods commonly include wet granulation, one-step granulation, and dry granulation. Granulation is the process of mixing raw material powders with binders to form soft materials, and drying the particles. However, the traditional method for producing soft materials is to use a trough mixing mechanism to produce soft materials and then use a swinging particle mechanism to wet the particles. However, using a drying oven to dry the soft materials into dry particles results in low yield, high strength, serious pollution, long production cycle, and large equipment footprint. Recently, it has gradually been replaced by the continuous production operation method or one-step granulation method of high-speed mixing granulator and boiling drying granulation.
Functional requirements for high-speed mixing granulator:
1Mix the materials dry with a stirring blade and wet mix with adhesive. The rotation speed of the stirring blade can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the material and adhesive to ensure the generation of vortices and thorough mixing of the materials. At the same time, the intersection area of the granulation knife fully breaks down the churning material into particles;
2The rotation speed of the stirring blade and pelletizing knife can cause three-dimensional motion of the material, resulting in collision, friction, and shearing of the particles, making the friction uniform and fine, and finally forming stable spherical particles. The mixing time, speed of the stirring blade and granulation knife, quality and uniformity of granulation after drying meet the requirements of the solid preparation production process;
