1.1 Overview
WHS-TAI08 is10M/100M adaptive network type 8Channel analog input (AI) module. The internal circuit of the module is isolated from the on-site analog input signal using optocouplers. The principle diagram is shown in Figure 1.1:

WHS-TAI08 has 4 branch models, each supporting 0-5V input(WHS-TAI08-V), 0~10V input(WHS-TAI08-U), 4-20mA input(WHS-TAI08-I), 0-20mA input(WHS-TAI08-X)。WHS-TAI08It has the function of actively uploading analog status (when the active upload mode is enabled, it can support 5 MODBUS TCP client connections; When the active upload mode is turned off, it can support 6 MODBUS TCP client connections; In the case of static IP addresses, it can support 7 MODBUS TCP client connections, etc;WHS-TAIThe resolution of 08 is 12 bits; AI has wire breakage detection function; The analog signal amplification sampling circuit is isolated from the main circuit, effectively suppressing on-site interference;Cortex-M3High speed processing chips with strong data processing capabilities; Watchdog circuit design, capable of automatic reset in case of accidentsWHS-TAI08, ESD、 Overvoltage and overcurrent protection design ensures long-term stable and reliable operation of the system.

Note ①Due to the use of active input impedance technology in this product, it is incorrect to use a multimeter to test the input impedance of a voltage input module when power is off. The correct way to measure the input impedance is to connect the measured signal source in series with a resistor of about 500K and then connect it to this device. After powering on, test the voltage at both ends of the connected resistor. According to Ohm's law, the input impedance can be measured.
Note 2For current type input devices, do not use analog input terminals(AI+TheAI-)Access greater than40mADo not use the current source directlyAI+TheAI-Up merge greater than10VVoltage source, as this can cause a decrease in equipment accuracy and even damage to the equipment.
