Working principle of VSI series vertical impact crusher

The material vertically falls into the high-speed rotating impeller from the upper part of the machine, and under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, it collides and crushes at high speed with another part of the material that is divided in an umbrella shape around the impeller. After colliding with each other, the material will form vortices between the impeller and the casing, and collide and rub against each other multiple times to crush it. It is discharged directly from the lower part, forming a closed loop and multiple cycles. It is controlled by the screening equipment to achieve the required particle size of the finished product.

The VSI series vertical impact crusher (sand making machine) has two types: 'stone striking stone' and 'stone striking iron'. The 'stone striking stone' type is used for processing highly abrasive materials The 'stone struck iron' type is used for processing materials with low abrasive properties, and the sand formation rate of the 'stone struck iron' type is 10-20% higher than that of the 'stone struck stone' type.
