Product Introduction:
The use of EDI system needs to be combined with reverse osmosis, and the effluent from reverse osmosis entering EDI can achieve better desalination effect. EDI is a pure water manufacturing technology that combines ion exchange technology, ion exchange membrane technology, and ion electromigration technology. It cleverly combines electrodialysis and ion exchange technology, using high voltage at both ends of the electrode to move charged ions in water, and cooperating with ion exchange resin and selective resin membrane to accelerate ion movement and removal, thus achieving the goal of water purification. In the EDI desalination process, ions are removed through ion exchange membranes under the action of an electric field. At the same time, water molecules generate hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions under the action of an electric field, which continuously regenerate the ion exchange resin to maintain its optimal state. The desalination rate of EDI facilities can reach over 99%. If reverse osmosis equipment is used to preliminarily desalinate water before EDI, then EDI desalination can produce ultrapure water with a resistivity of over 18M.cm.
Working principle of ultrapure water equipment:
After entering the EDI module, the RO produced water is evenly distributed to the fresh water chamber.
The trace ions that have not been removed by the RO membrane are adsorbed on the surface of the membrane by the ion exchange resin in the freshwater chamber.
3. Direct current is applied to the electrodes at both ends of the EDI module to drive the corresponding electrodes of cations and anions in the fresh water chamber to migrate to the concentrated water chamber, thereby producing ultrapure water.
Under the action of electric current, water molecules are extensively ionized into H+and OH -, thereby continuously regenerating the ion exchange resin.
Characteristics of Ultra Pure Water Production Equipment:
1. The quality of the produced water is high and stable;
2. Continuous and uninterrupted water production, without stopping due to regeneration;
3. No need for chemical regeneration;
4. Thoughtful stacked design with small footprint;
5. Easy to operate and safe;
6. Low operating and maintenance costs;
7. No acid and alkali reserves and transportation costs;
8. Fully automatic operation, no need for dedicated supervision.
Application scope of ultrapure water production equipment:
Ultra pure water is mainly used in solvent water, chemical analysis, chemical materials, product cleaning, substance separation, concentration, purification and other occasions. The water quality requirements are relatively strict. Our company can adopt different combinations of ultra pure water production processes such as reverse osmosis and EDI according to the specific water quality requirements of customers to produce ultra pure water equipment that is both economical and practical, and can meet customer requirements.
