Equipment Overview:

The external circulation evaporator is composed of different quantities of single effect, double effect, triple effect, and multi effect structures. The triple effect external circulation evaporator, also known as the triple effect concentrator, uses a combination of external heating natural circulation and vacuum negative pressure evaporation to achieve fast evaporation speed. The liquid material is rapidly concentrated at low temperature in a fully sealed state under vacuum. It is suitable for the evaporation and concentration of various liquid materials such as traditional Chinese medicine extract, tea extract, biological fermentation liquid, syrup, dairy products, bone soup, fruit and vegetable juice, chemical solutions, industrial wastewater, etc., or the recovery of organic solvents such as alcohol. As the secondary steam generated during the operation of the equipment is fully utilized, the most prominent feature of the three effect external circulation evaporator is its low energy consumption, relatively low equipment investment cost, and simple operation. Therefore, the equipment is widely used in many fields such as biological fermentation, medicine, food, health care products, condiments, additives, milk drinks, fruit and vegetable drinks, daily chemical industry, essence and spices, environmental protection engineering, waste liquid recovery, and so on.

Equipment structure principle:

The main components of a three effect external circulation evaporator include a first effect heater, a second effect heater, a third effect heater, a first effect separator, a second effect separator, a third effect separator, a condenser, a condensate tank, a vacuum pump, a feed liquid pump, a valve piping system, an electrical control system, etc. When the equipment is running, the feed liquid enters the tube side of each effect heater and each effect separator through pumping or vacuum self-priming principle. The heating medium (boiler steam) enters the shell side of the first effect heater. The boiling point of the feed liquid decreases under vacuum state. When heated to a certain temperature, it begins to boil and is sprayed into the separator through the injection tube for rapid evaporation and vapor-liquid separation. The unevaporated feed liquid flows back to the heater through the bottom circulation tube and is sprayed into the separator again, forming a cycle. The secondary steam generated by the first effect heater enters the shell side of the second effect heater and serves as the heating medium for the second effect heater. Similarly, the secondary steam of the second effect acts as the heating medium for the third effect heater, fully utilizing the thermal energy and achieving energy-saving effects. The final steam enters the condenser, is cooled and condensed into a liquid phase by circulating water, enters the condensate collection tank, and is finally discharged. The material movement state of the second and third effects is the same as that of the first effect. When the liquid material shrinks to a certain degree and is determined to be qualified through sampling, it can be discharged to complete the evaporation and concentration process.
