Toxic and harmful gas detection transmitter BYG500-XX
Product details
1、 Introduction to Toxic and Harmful Gas Detection Transmitters
The BYG500-XX series fixed toxic and harmful gas detection transmitter can detect the percentage concentration (% LEL) of flammable gases within the lower explosive limit in the air; Oxygen content within the volume percentage (Vol%) concentration and toxic and harmful gas detection range (unit: parts per million ppm) concentration are converted into 4-20mA standard signal output in a proportional relationship. Processed and displayed through the BYG500-XX series gas detection alarm host produced by our company. When the concentration of the detected gas in the air reaches or exceeds the alarm set value (when the oxygen deficiency is lower than the alarm set value), the transmitter driver connected to the host will emit an audible and visual alarm signal, reminding relevant personnel to take preventive measures in a timely manner to avoid explosions and malignant accidents.
This series of gas detection transmitters are explosion-proof instruments with an explosion-proof rating of ExdIICT6.
The combustible gas transmitter adopts a low-power thermal catalytic element sensor; The oxygen transmitter adopts an electrochemical primary battery sensor. Toxic and harmful gas transmitters all use imported electrochemical sensors. This series of products has the characteristics of high detection sensitivity, reliable technical performance, and long service life. It is an ideal product to replace similar foreign safety instruments. At present, large and medium-sized enterprises widely adopt computer distributed control systems (DCS systems), and the 4-20mA standard signal output by the transmitter can be directly connected to the monitoring system.
This series of transmitters is widely used in factories, warehouses, research institutes, petrochemical, chemical industries, rubber, leather, mining, metallurgy, environmental protection, fire protection, municipal and other departments, as well as other places with toxic and harmful gases, oxygen deficiency, and flammable and explosive materials. It is an essential instrument to prevent toxic and harmful gases from endangering personal safety, prevent explosion accidents, and achieve safe production.

4、 Installation method of toxic and harmful gas detection transmitter:
According to the specific gravity and wind direction of the gas, the transmitter should be installed within one meter of the possible gas leakage location. This way, the actual response speed of the transmitter is relatively fast. Otherwise, there may be a situation where the concentration of combustible gas or toxic and harmful gas at the transmitter installation location does not exceed the standard, but the local gas at the leakage point has already exceeded the standard, and the transmitter and host cannot alarm.
The installation height of the transmitter above the ground should be greater than 30 centimeters to prevent water splashing in. In general, for detecting harmful gases with a specific gravity lower than that of air, the probe should be installed above the house or equipment; For harmful gases with a specific gravity greater than that of air, the probe should be installed close to the ground.
The installation probe of the transmitter should face downwards. If installed outdoors, a rain shield should be added above the transmitter.
