Thick walled 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe refers to a three-layer structure polyolefin coating (MAPEC) external anti-corrosion steel pipe, which is a commonly used type of anti-corrosion pipeline in China. Other anti-corrosion methods include IPN8710, FBE epoxy powder, and epoxy coal tar. Anti corrosion steel pipe refers to a steel pipeline that has been processed and treated with anti-corrosion technology to effectively prevent or slow down the occurrence of chemical or electrochemical reactions and corrosion during transportation and use.
Thick walled 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes generally consist of a 3-layer structure:
First layer epoxy powder (FBE>100um)
Second layer adhesive (AD) 170-250um
Third layer polyethylene (PE) 2.5-3.7mm
In practical operation, the three materials are mixed and integrated into one, and processed to firmly bond with the steel pipe to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer. Its processing methods are generally divided into two types: winding and circular mold wrapping.

2PE/3PE anti-corrosion shall comply with SY/T0413-2002 (test) "Technical Standard for Polyethylene External Coating of Buried Steel Pipelines"
Anti corrosion surface rust removal standard: The sandblasting rust removal on the outer surface of the steel pipe shall meet the Sa2 1/2 level according to GB/T8923-2008 requirements, and the anchor depth on the surface of the steel pipe shall be between 40-100 μ m.
