Instrument Introduction
TVOC is a general term for volatile organic compounds, which refers to organic compounds with a saturated vapor pressure greater than 70.91 Pa at room temperature and a boiling point less than 260 ℃ at atmospheric pressure. It mainly includes alkanes, aromatics, alkenes, halogenated hydrocarbons, benzenes, esters, aldehydes, ketones, and other organic compounds. TVOC can exist in the air in the form of evaporation and has certain toxicity, irritation, carcinogenicity, and special odor. It can affect the skin and mucous membranes of organisms and cause acute damage to the human body. It is a common type of air pollutant in modern industrial society.
In 2016, the air pollution caused by VOC emissions had already attracted high attention from the country, and some emission standards were issued. It is expected that by 2020, the total VOC emissions in the country will decrease by more than 10%.
Tate Instruments has launched a dedicated gas chromatograph for the detection of TVOC, and has made corresponding configurations specifically for the detection of benzene derivatives in TVOC. The entire instrument is equipped with specialized chromatography columns for TVOC detection, fully automatic thermal desorption instruments, FID detectors, and other specialized accessories, which can quicklyfastAnalyze the TVOC components and benzene derivatives in the sample gas, which can be used for the detection of TVOC+benzene components in five indoor air tests, and is applicable to the national standards GB50325 and GB/T18883.
Instrument characteristics
1. TVOC+benzene specific gas chromatograph configuration scheme, combined with thermal analyzer and TVOC specific capillary chromatography column, for rapid analysis of TVOC components.
2. New production process, redesigned the air supply path and internal structure inside the instrument, more reasonable component layout, reduced component signal interference, improved detection accuracy, and excellent stability and durability of the equipment.
3Adopting a 7-inch color touch screen control and a professional chromatograph UI operation interface design, it intuitively reflects the internal temperature values of the injection port, column temperature box, and detector, as well as the values of each detector, and the running time. It has a one click cooling function, and users can set their own detection conditions, making it very convenient to use.
4. The instrument has excellent repeatability. Under the experimental conditions of using an automatic sampler for injection, the repeatability error of the instrument test can reach 2%, which is better than the 3% specified by the national standard.
5. The column temperature box adopts a six channel independent temperature control system, an automatic rear door opening system, a 21 stage 21 platform program temperature rise, fast temperature rise/fall speed, and a temperature control accuracy of 0.1 ℃, making the equipment capable of large-scale sample analysis.
6. It can be directly connected to the computer and operated through the PC network version chromatography workstation software (with a maximum support of 253 units) to achieve program control of the instrument's injection port, column temperature box, and detector temperature rise and fall. Under the condition that the customer is equipped with an automatic injection valve (or automatic sampler), it is possible to achieve a series of testing processes such as unmanned instrument operation, automatic temperature rise and ignition of the instrument, automatic loading method, and automatic calculation of test results, meeting the requirements of online testing.
7. The Internet of Things chromatograph technology, with built-in IP protocol stack, can upload test data to the computer of the on-site laboratory, department heads and superior leaders through the corporate LAN or the Internet, so that each department can monitor the operation of the instrument and test results in real time. It can directly connect with the manufacturer through the Internet to realize remote diagnosis of gas chromatograph, remote program update, etc.
