Overview of TK type air compressor three-phase synchronous motor

The TK series large three-phase synchronous motor is a synchronous motor specially designed for reciprocating compressors. It is a new generation product developed by our company's scientific and technological personnel based on decades of experience in trial production of TK series motors in China, and through digestion and absorption of advanced foreign technology. This series of motors complies with the national standard GB755 "Rotating Electrical Machinery Rating and Performance", the mechanical industry standard JB/T8667.1 "Technical Conditions for Large Three phase Synchronous Motors Tk Series", and relevant IEC international standards in terms of installation size, power level, electrical performance, etc. This series of electric motors adopts more advanced technological achievements in the motor industry in recent years. Therefore, its structure is more reasonable and its technology is more advanced. It has the advantages of compact structure, high efficiency, low noise, small vibration, high reliability, and excellent installation and maintenance. Mainly used for equipment in the refrigeration and fertilizer industries. The starting method is full voltage starting. If the user's power grid capacity is insufficient, the voltage can be appropriately reduced for starting.


The rated frequency of the motor is 50Hz, and there are three voltages: 3000V, 6000V, and 10000V. We can also manufacture 60Hz or other voltage motors according to the order requirements.

The structure and installation type of the electric motor are IM7311; Under normal conditions, the working system of the electric motor is a continuous working system (S1).

The rated power factor of the electric motor is 0.9 (leading).


Structure Description of TK Type Three phase Synchronous Motor for Air Compressor

This series of motors can be made in two structural forms: with a shaft and seat bearing (IM7311) and without a shaft and seat bearing (IM5710), depending on the structure of the compressor. The basic protection level of electric motors is (IP00), and the cooling method is generally open type (self fan cooling IC01). It can also be made with a protection level of IP00 or above or other cooling forms (such as pipeline ventilation) as required.

The excitation method of this series of motors is static thyristor excitation.

The stator lead wires of this series of motors can be made into 3, 6, 9, or 12 according to user requirements.

This series of stator and rotor windings are insulated with B-class or F-class insulation materials, and the temperature rise is assessed according to B-class to extend their service life; The winding ends are reliably fixed and tied, and treated with vacuum pressure impregnation solvent-free paint process (VPI) After multiple inter turn pulse withstand voltage and ground withstand voltage tests during the manufacturing process, the motor has excellent and reliable insulation performance, good mechanical strength, and strong moisture resistance.

This series of motors can be equipped with temperature measuring devices in important parts such as stator windings and bearings according to user needs to ensure safe and reliable operation of the motor.


Application of TK type air compressor three-phase synchronous motor

The Tk series large three-phase synchronous motor is mainly used to drive reciprocating air compressors, and can also be used to drive other general mechanical equipment such as water pumps and fans.
