Swiss Metrohm 831 Coulombic Karl Fischer Moisture Analyzer
Technical parameters:
Measurement range: 10 micrograms 200 milligrams of water
Measurement speed: 2.24 milligrams of water per minute (maximum)
Measurement accuracy ± 3 micrograms (water: range of 10 micrograms... 1000 micrograms)
≤ 0.3% (water>1000 micrograms range)
Resolution: 0.1 micrograms of water
Sample type: solid, liquid, gas
Memory user methods: 100
Main features:
The main difference between the Coulombic method and the volumetric method is that iodine in the Coulombic reaction is directly generated by the electrolytic electrode. Calculate the moisture content of the sample using the quantitative relationship between the amount of electricity required for electrolyzing iodine and iodine. The KF Coulombic method is an absolute measurement and does not require the determination of titration degree. Suitable for samples with a moisture content range of 10 μ g-200mg.
1. Can use electrodes with or without membranes
Diaphragm free: using single component Karl Fischer reagent, the electrode does not require maintenance
Diaphragm: Widely applicable, including aldehyde ketone systems
2. Monitor the lifespan of KF reagents
Monitor the service life and measurement capacity of reagents in the titration cell, automatically sound an alarm, ensure timely replacement of reagents, and avoid ineffective measurements.
3. Automatic replacement of KF reagents
Configure Metrohm's 700 Dosino and press the keyboard to automatically replace reagents, avoiding contact between operators and reagents while minimizing the infiltration of moisture into the environment.
4. Capable of storing various analysis methods
Users can edit and store up to 100 methods, directly call and perform sample measurements.
5. Flexible and convenient
Using standard mode, simple pressing of a few keys can complete daily analysis, while using expert mode allows for flexible setting of various parameters to handle demanding measurements with ease. Parameters can be modified at any time during the titration process without interrupting the titration process.
6. Background deduction
According to the experimental environment conditions, "automatic" or "manual" background drift value deduction can be set to ensure more accurate analysis results.
7. Large screen display, intuitive and clear
Real time display of titration curves, allowing for intuitive browsing of more parameters and analysis results information. It not only improves work efficiency, but also facilitates the research and development of analytical methods.
