Electric hydraulic riveting pliers are essential tools used in ventilation engineering and duct flange riveting operations. It has the characteristics of small and lightweight, firm riveting, flexible operation, low noise, and easy maintenance.

2、 Principle and Structure

This machine consists of a pump station, riveting pliers, electrical box, high-pressure rubber hose, etc. The motor directly drives the axial piston pump to generate high-pressure oil, which drives the single acting oil cylinder piston connected to the riveting pliers to perform working motion and riveting operations. After the homework is completed, the electromagnetic directional valve is controlled by a button to connect the oil circuit or release the empty load. The return spring resets the piston, completing one working cycle.

4、 Usage method

1. Hydraulic oil:The normal working oil temperature of No. 46 Great Wall anti-wear hydraulic oil is 15 ℃~65 ℃. When adding oil to the riveting pliers, it must reach the upper limit of 1/2 of the oil level.

2. Start up

(1) Start the motor: Check the rotation direction of the motor (clockwise direction);

(2) No load start, no load stop;

(3) When starting, first turn the start button on and off several times to check if the pump's sound is normal and if the riveted piston rod extends and retracts properly.

(4) Pressure regulation: Adjust the working pressure to no more than 150kg/cm2.

3. Riveting

There are two riveting methods for this riveting pliers, which can be riveted by simply swapping the upper and lower devices on the pliers head.

(1) One time riveting forming

Installation: Install the spring, punch, and rivet nut onto the telescopic rod, and install a magnetic rivet seat on the upper end of the clamp head.

Firstly, insert the guide punch of the riveting pliers into the rivet hole of the angle steel flange, and then place the rivet in the magnetic rivet seat for riveting. Press the button switch on the riveting pliers to allow pressure oil to enter the working oil cylinder, the piston rod quickly extends, and the rivet penetrates the thin steel plate, achieving one-time punching and riveting forming. Release the button switch, the hydraulic oil is depressurized, and the piston rod is reset under the action of the return spring, completing one working cycle.

(2) Double riveting forming

Installation: Install the rivet nut directly onto the telescopic rod, and install the rivet seat on the clamp head.

Firstly, place the rivet into the rivet hole of the angle steel flange, align the center of the rivet nut of the riveting pliers with the rivet, press the button switch on the riveting pliers to allow pressure oil to enter the working oil cylinder, and the piston rod quickly extends. The rivet penetrates the thin steel plate to achieve punching, release the button switch, and reset the piston rod. Align the rivet nut of the riveting pliers eccentrically with the rivet, continue to press the button switch, and the piston rod extends to rivet the rivet, achieving the punching and riveting process twice. At this point, release the button switch to complete a work cycle. (See Figure 2)
