In order to meet the ring network requirements of the wind farm, a self-healing Ethernet ring optical transceiver needs to be installed in the relay protection room of the substation. The two fiber interfaces of the optical transceiver are respectively connected to the intelligent box transformer monitoring unit installed in the wind farm box transformer to form a ring connection. The electrical port of the optical transceiver is connected to the 100M Ethernet switch of the monitoring system in the substation.

---Some manufacturers' current unit products only have serial ports without Ethernet interfaces, requiring the ring network optical transceiver to have a serial port (RS232/485). At the center end, one network port of the ring network optical transceiver can converge the remote serial port (RS232/485), providing a virtual serial port without the need for a physical serial port connection. The central intelligent box transformer monitoring system can communicate with various remote nodes through the network port's serial port, no longer using multiple serial port cards deployed in MOSA to be inserted into server expansion slots for conversion.
