BarTender is the fastest and easiest barcode printing software for designing professional and high-quality labels. Applied to Windows Server 2003 (SP1 and above), Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, XP (SP3 and above), Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Including all 32-bit and 64 bit (x64) versions. The product supports a wide range of barcode coding systems and barcode printers, not only barcode printers but also laser printers. We have also developed enhanced drivers for world-renowned barcode printers. BarTender is the first Windows label design and printing software that supports both laser and thermal transfer printers simultaneously. It strictly follows the "look and feel" standards of Microsoft software design, so the operation is very simple. The barcode, text, and graphic formats fully conform to the simple and intuitive mouse operation method. Multiple powerful features allow you to freely design and become an expert in this field without even realizing it.
BarTender has four levels of versions, each aimed at different functional requirements and user needs:
Printer authorization:Both automation versions do not limit the number of network users. In these versions, the authorization is based on the maximum number of printers used by BarTender in the network.
Enterprise Automation Version:
The most powerful version, with all the label design, printing, software integration, and external data source functions of the automated version, as well as advanced server features such as central printing, security, and management. The BarTender Web print server included in this version supports printing labels from any browser. This version also includes our highest level integration features such as TCP/IP triggers, SAP AII, Oracle XML, XML conversion, and XML scripting. The comprehensive features provided by supporting applications such as Libra will make usage more convenient. You can also track the inventory of printer components and the media usage inside the printer.
Automated version:
Including functions-All the most powerful tag design features of BarTender. This version provides various software integration tools, such as ActiveX Automation, enterprise messaging tools, and Seagull's Commander utility (for cross platform integration). You can use all the functions of obtaining external data sources in the professional version, and it also supports SAP IDocs. This includes all supporting applications except for Libra, but not all features. Only supports the recording function of local databases, but supports all RFID design and coding functions.
Delete function-We do not provide improved server functionality, advanced integration (such as XML and SAP AII), and network printing functionality for the enterprise automation version (see above). Not including Libra. Removed some of the supporting application functions. It does not support centralized database recording function, nor does it have inventory control function for printer consumables.
Computer authorization:Professional and Basic editions are authorized based on the number of PC uses.
Professional version:
Including functions-All the most powerful tag design features of BarTender. Support data access to network databases (using OLE DB and ODBC) as well as spreadsheets and text files. Includes two supporting applications: Batch Maker and Print Station.
Delete function-Cannot be controlled from other software. There is no ActiveX, Commander, or command line. ）Does not support SAP or XML, does not provide record or email error warnings, and cannot export printer code templates. Also does not include all features removed in the automated version, and does not include Printer Maestro. Multiple supporting applications were also deleted.
Basic version:
Including functionsThe most commonly used tag design function. Including all text, graphics, barcodes, and most serialization functions. Only used for label data provided through keyboard and scanner. The supporting application only includes Print Station.
Delete function- Unable to access external data.
