1、 Performance and Application of Reverse Osmosis Scale Inhibitors
Reverse osmosis scale inhibitor MDC150 and dispersant are efficient liquid scale inhibitors used to control scaling deposits in membrane separation systems, effectively controlling calcium carbonate, calcium silicate, and calcium sulfate scales. They have high scale inhibition efficiency and do not form insoluble polymers with residual organic coagulants. Preventing scaling, improving water production and quality, and reducing operating costs in reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), or ultrafiltration (UF) systems without ion exchange pretreatment.
2、 Characteristics of reverse osmosis scale inhibitor MDC150
(1) Can be used in combination with organic flocculants;
(2) Can be used for producing drinking water;
(3) Effectively control the scaling of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and strontium sulfate, with an L.S.I value of up to 3.0, preventing scaling;
(4) All major reverse osmosis membranes can be used;
(5) Maintaining a clean reverse osmosis membrane surface by dispersing and blocking particles;
(6) The inlet pH is effective within the range of 5-9;
(7) It can be added directly without dilution or added after dilution;
(8) Good resistance to oxides of aluminum and iron.
3、 Technical indicators of reverse osmosis scale inhibitor
Project indicators
Appearance: Orange yellow transparent liquid
PH (5% aqueous solution) 5.0 ± 0.5
Density (20 ℃) g/cm3 1.10 ± 0.05
4、 Usage method of reverse osmosis scale inhibitor
To achieve optimal performance, it should be added before static mixing or cylindrical filters. The typical dosage of reverse osmosis scale inhibitor MDC150 and dispersant is 2-6mg/L, which can be diluted with RO membrane permeate or deionized water.
Note: Excessive or insufficient dosage can cause membrane fouling.
5、 Packaging
The reverse osmosis scale inhibitor MDC150 and dispersant are packaged in 25L plastic drums or according to customer requirements.
6、 Safety and Protection
Reverse osmosis scale inhibitor MDC150, dispersant is weakly acidic. When operating, pay attention to labor protection and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. After contact, rinse with plenty of water.
