Portable octane number analyzer is commonly used for on-site analysis of octane number of power gasoline, in conjunction with motor method and research method（RON and MON correspond and can also be applied to the analysis of cetane number in diesel. In addition, the temperature of the analyzed liquid and the freezing point of diesel can also be measured, and the measurement results are displayed on the LCD screen.
SHATOX octane number analyzer is widely used around the world Its measurement method complies with international standards: octane number measurement complies with ASTM D 2699-86, ASTM D 2700-86. Diesel cetane number measurement complies with ASTM D 4737-03, ASTM D 613, EN ISO 5165.
Measurement principle of SX-300 portable oil quality analyzer
The principle of an octane number analyzer is to analyze and measure the insulation permeability and electromagnetic induction charge characteristics of the octane number of gasoline and the cetane number of diesel. By measuring the dielectric properties of the sample and comparing them with known parameters stored in memory, the results can be determined. The instrument is highly sensitive and can measure small changes in dielectric parameters Thus, petroleum product parameters such as octane number and cetane number can be detected.
