CN-A: 87.110.200 Pure Water pH Electrode
The pure water pH electrode can be directly used in conjunction with the Swiss SWAN company's CN-A: 87.110.200 pure water pH electrode and pure water pH meter;
Precautions for using pH electrodes;
1. Glass electrode sockets should be kept dry and clean, and must not come into contact with harmful gases such as acid mist and salt mist. It is also strictly prohibited to come into contact with aqueous solutions to ensure high input impedance of the instrument.
2. When not measuring, the input should be short circuited to avoid damaging the instrument.
3. New electrodes or electrodes that have been unused for a long time must be soaked in distilled water for several hours before use. Reduce the asymmetric potential of the electrode to achieve stability and lower the internal resistance of the electrode.
4. During measurement, the electrode bubbles should be fully immersed in the measured solution.
5. When using, the internal reference electrode should be immersed in the internal reference solution, and the internal reference solution should not be tilted towards one end of the electrode cap, leaving the internal reference suspended.
6. When in use, the rubber stopper of the reference electrode electrolyte filling port should be removed to allow the reference electrolyte (salt bridge) to maintain a certain flow rate through gravity and communicate with the measured solution. Otherwise, it will cause reading drift.
7. There should be no bubbles in the potassium solution to avoid disconnecting the measurement circuit.
8. Potassium salt bridge solution should be added frequently to maintain the liquid level above silver/silver wire.
