Proper use of brakes during driving is not only beneficial for ensuring driving safety, but also for saving fuel, reducing tire wear, and preventing mechanical damage. There are mainly two types of brakes on the market now: disc brakes and drum brakes. Their functions are the same, but their working principles are not exactly the same. The general working principle is to use the mutual friction between non rotating components connected to the vehicle body (or frame) and rotating components connected to the wheels (or transmission shaft) to prevent the rotation or tendency of the wheels. The following mainly introduces the working principle of disc brakes. Currently, the YWZ series electric hydraulic drum brakes are commonly used as driving devices in China's industrial brake industry using Ed and YTD series electric hydraulic thrusters. Due to the long-term continuous operation of this series of brakes, the motor load duration is long, the temperature rises, accelerates the insulation aging of the motor, accelerates the failure of hydraulic seals, causes oil leakage, and leads to relatively more faults. Often, the motor overheats and burns out, causing faults in the electric hydraulic thruster, affecting operation, and even causing accidents; When used in lifting equipment, after the thruster motor is powered off, due to the inertia of the thruster motor rotor and impeller, the hydraulic oil pressure relief slows down, the damping push rod and piston descend, and the brake closing lags behind, resulting in untimely braking and often causing the phenomenon of slipping hooks. The YWZZ series cold state (maintenance) brake adopts the EdZ series cold state electric hydraulic thruster as the driving device. The EdZ thruster is equipped with a DC electromagnet holding device. During the operation of the brake, the thruster motor only completes the process of opening (releasing) the brake before shutting down the thruster motor, and the brake is maintained in the open state by the DC electromagnet holding force. However, the current of the DC electromagnet is small, which lowers the temperature rise of the thruster and prolongs its service life; When braking, the electromagnet loses power. As the motor has already been cut off, the hydraulic oil has been completely released, and the push rod and piston are no longer affected by hydraulic oil damping and quickly descend. The brake quickly brakes, improving the phenomenon of slipping hooks. The YWZZ series cold state (maintenance) brake can be widely used in mechanical equipment such as lifting, belt transportation, port loading and unloading, metallurgy, mining, and construction. Especially suitable for deceleration and parking braking of various mechanical equipment and lifting mechanisms that work for long periods of time or have relatively long working hours.
