1 Product selection
The product models of the 1.1SN series intelligent power capacitors are shown in Figure 7, indicating the type of product.

1.2 Example 1: SN-CMS/450-10.20 represents a three-phase intelligent power capacitor with a total capacity of 30Kvar and a rated voltage of 450V. The first circuit is 10Kvar and the second circuit is 20Kvar.
Example 2: SN-CMF/250-30 represents a single-phase distributed intelligent power capacitor with a total capacity of 30Kvar and a rated voltage of 250V. The capacity of each phase, a, b, and c, is 10Kvar.
1.3 Three phase compensation method: The product contains two "△" type capacitors with a maximum capacitance of (35+35) Kvar. The two capacitors do not switch on or off simultaneously during operation; The phase separation compensation method product has a "Y" type capacitor, with A, B, and C phases being switched on and off respectively. The internal capacitor capacity of three-phase compensation products can be the same or different, such as (20+20), (20+10), (10+10), (10+5) Kvar, etc.
1.4 Capacitors are the most vulnerable components in terms of voltage tolerance in products, so the selection of rated voltage should have a large safety margin. The product is generally installed at the outlet of the distribution transformer, where the voltage is relatively high.
