The spiral sand water separator is suitable for sedimentation tanks in sewage treatment plants. It is an integrated equipment for separating and lifting organic sand in sewage, and can separate particles with a particle size of ≥ 0.2mm. It has high separation efficiency, and the equipment adopts shaftless spiral and water free bearings. It has the characteristics of light weight, compact structure, reliable operation, and easy installation, making it an ideal sand water separation equipment.
Working principle
The installation angle of the spiral sand water separator is between 20 ° and 30 °. The sand water mixture enters the water tank through the inlet pipe, and the particles with a higher density (such as sand particles) in the mixture settle at the bottom of the spiral groove due to their own weight. Under the push of the spiral, the material rises along the inclined U-shaped groove bottom, and after leaving the liquid surface, continues to move up for a distance. The water in the sand particles gradually flows back to the water tank in the gap of the spiral groove, and the sand particles gradually dry at the discharge port, relying on their own weight to fall into other conveying devices. The supernatant continuously flows out from the drainage pipe. Achieve the goal of sand water separation.
Construction and working process
1. The spiral sand water separator consists of a shaftless spiral, a lining strip, a U-shaped groove, a water tank, a guide plate, an outlet weir, and a driving device.
2. The sand water mixture is input into the water tank from the top of one end of the separator. The heavier components in the mixture, such as sand particles, will deposit at the bottom of the groove. Under the spiral pushing, the sand particles will rise along the inclined groove bottom and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port. The water separated from the sand water will be discharged from the overflow port and sent to the inlet water tank in the factory.
