Multi-media filter
The multi-media filter uses a variety of selected specifications of quartz sand, manganese sand and other filter materials to form a multi-element filtration layer. The adsorption channels formed by the packing layers of each specification can effectively intercept and filter impurities such as suspended solids, flocs, colloids, particles, etc. in the water, further improving the quality of the produced water. In this system, the organic combination of multiple filter materials is used to diversify the filter materials and fully tap into the filtering capacity and effectiveness of the filter.
The specific operation steps of a multi-media filter are as follows:
Multi media filter operation
(1) Before each operation of the multi-media filter, the first step is to exhaust the air. During the exhaust process, open the positive inlet valve and exhaust valve of the filter. When the exhaust pipeline is evenly drained, the exhaust is complete (this step only needs to be performed when filling the equipment with water or when the equipment is shut down for a long time).
(2) After the exhaust is completed, open the positive outlet valve and close the exhaust valve at the same time, and the multi-media filter will start to operate.
Multi media filter backwash
(1) As the running time prolongs, when the increase in water pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the multi-media filter reaches 0.05-0.1Mpa, the filter needs to be backwashed (when the water pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter does not reach 0.05-0.1Mpa after running for more than 7 days, we recommend backwashing once).
(2) When backwashing, first open the reverse inlet valve and reverse drain valve to backwash the filter. The flushing intensity is 20-30 meters/hour, and the expansion rate of the filter material is 20-30%. The backwashing time is generally 5-10 minutes.
(3) Then close the reverse inlet valve and reverse drain valve, and open the positive drain valve and exhaust valve of the filter to discharge some water. Then close the positive drain valve, open the intake valve, and clean the multi-media filter with air for 5-10 minutes. During air cleaning, pay attention to controlling the intake volume and ensuring that no filter material is blown out from the exhaust pipe. When scrubbing with air, the intake pressure is 0.2-0.25MPa and the scrubbing strength is 10-15 L/S · m2.
(4) After the gas wiping is completed, normal backwashing should be carried out, and the backwashing time is generally 15-30 minutes, which can also be determined by the turbidity of the discharged water.
Multi media filter is currently being washed
(1) After the backwashing is completed, open the positive inlet valve and positive drain valve, close the negative inlet valve, negative drain valve, and exhaust valve, and the filter begins to be backwashed.
(2) The normal washing flow rate is usually 8-12 meters/hour, and the normal washing time is usually 10-30 minutes. After the normal washing is completed, the outlet valve is opened and the positive discharge valve is closed, and the filter can be put into normal operation.
