1. The SN-8CK series reactive power compensation controller is a new generation of low-voltage reactive power compensation controller designed and developed based on relevant national technical standards, regulations, and user requirements, using a dedicated power parameter acquisition chip and a 32-bit ARM processor. The product has a beautiful and elegant appearance, and is easy to install and use. Realize human-machine dialogue through digital display and buttons. Connect with SN series intelligent integrated power capacitors through 485 communication. Control physical quantities as a composite of voltage, current, power factor, and reactive power. Adopting a new reactive power trend flow judgment algorithm, it is particularly suitable for situations with large power factor fluctuations. Low number of actions and high control accuracy.

2. Functional Features

1) Obtain voltage, current, power, power factor and other data through communication sampling, and calculate the reactive power deficit. It can collect the harmonic content of voltage and current from 2 to 19 in each phase to calculate the total voltage and current harmonic distortion rate.

2) Dynamically display the various parameter values of power distribution, with simple and fast parameter settings, and the set parameters will not be lost when the power is turned off.

3) Automatically detect the quantity and capacity of smart capacitors, and control the switching of smart capacitors according to the reactive power parameters of the power grid.

4) It has overvoltage, undervoltage, undercurrent, over temperature, and voltage current harmonic protection. When the grid parameters exceed the set limits, the controller quickly cuts off the capacitors that have been put into operation and locks the output to protect the safe operation of the capacitors and extend their service life.

5) By using comprehensive calculations of voltage, current, power factor, reactive power, etc., voltage hysteresis and control judgment are made to make compensation more accurate and prevent switching oscillation.

6) Sampling the above criterion values at multiple points within the action delay time, and judging the reactive power trend flow based on the values of each point, avoids the judgment errors caused by single point sampling of action points in conventional controllers. In situations where the power factor changes greatly, it can accurately determine the required reactive power compensation and compensation direction (switching on or off).

7) It has manual/automatic switching function. When set to automatic mode, the input or disconnection of capacitors is controlled based on the comprehensive factors of voltage, load, power factor, and reactive power deficit; When set to manual mode, it is possible to manually operate the input or disconnection of capacitors, which facilitates factory debugging and quick switching of capacitors. Simulated switching can be achieved in both manual and automatic modes.

8) Switching principle: Capacitors of the same capacity are switched according to the number of actions taken, with the one with the fewest actions taken first. Capacitors of different capacities are switched according to the reactive power deficit.
