Rad-D fixed radiation detector, soon to be launched!Rad-D is a fixed radiation detector that can monitor lobbies, lanes, parcel and luggage conveyors, and loading docks. It can be used in conjunction with X-ray scanning equipment and metal detectors to form a complete safety detection system. Rad-D has a compact appearance and can be installed on walls, lamp posts, conveyor belts, or X-ray machines. Vehicles and pedestrians can travel smoothly while undergoing inspection. However, many similar devices require a large area and cement foundation as installation prerequisites, and also require inspection through fixed corridors/porches. A Rad-D system can include up to four detectors that can work simultaneously, with each detector located up to 150 feet away from the electronic display screen. Rad-D can connect to the user's existing secure network through serial communication, or connect to a computer 300 feet away through wireless Bluetooth.
