The swing pipe rain protection device is suitable for testing the shell protection level of outdoor lighting, communication products, signal devices, and automotive lighting fixtures. This equipment simulates rain tests manually, excluding rainfall with strong wind speeds, and does not consider the large amount of water ingress caused by the temperature difference between the test sample and the rainwater temperature. It can provide corresponding environmental simulation and accelerated testing for scientific research, product development, and quality control.

The hanging pipe rain protection device complies with national standards such as GB4208 shell protection level, GB2423.38 "Basic environmental test procedures for electrical and electronic products - Test R: Water test method", GB7000 General safety requirements and tests for lamps, GB4706 General requirements, GB/T10485 "Basic environmental tests for external lighting devices of automobiles and trailers".
Structure and working principle of the hanging pipe rain protection device
1. The rain test equipment consists of four parts: swing tube bracket, swing tube transmission, working rotary table, and electrical control. The bracket, rotary table protective cover, and control console are made of SUS304 stainless steel hairline plate. Equipped with pipeline pump and water filtration device, pressure gauge and flow meter.
2. Workbench rotation: The motor drives the turbine to decelerate and rotate, thereby achieving the rotation speed of the workbench.
3. Swing tube swing: driven by stepper motor, PLC (imported parts) reducer, and set automatically through programmable logic controller.
4. Nozzle: The bending radius of the swing tube is determined based on the size of the specimen. The nozzle is a detachable specialized nozzle, and the spray hole can be replaced at any time according to the required aperture of the standard, so that the water droplets emitted are uniform and the flow rate is sufficient.
5. Waterways: When exposed to rain, drainage should be considered for open swing pipes. In civil engineering, rapid drainage should be considered without water accumulation. An equivalent capacity water storage tank is also required to supply the testing needs.
Conditions for use of rain shower equipment for pipe laying
1. Environmental temperature: 5 ℃~30 ℃, environmental humidity: ≤ 85% R.H.
2. The machine should be placed 80 centimeters in front, back, left, and right, and no objects should be placed.
Due to the exposed swing drive motor, its waterproof rating should not be lower than IPX4. We have a waterproof cover to prevent water from entering the equipment.
