The QSD-SV/220 (24/12) 3-in-1 surge protector for video surveillance systems is specifically designed to protect power, video, and 485 control circuits from damage caused by lightning induced overvoltage, power interference, electrostatic discharge, and other factors. Working principle

The QSD-SV video surveillance system 3-in-1 lightning arrester adopts an equipotential connection design, connected between the system incoming line and the protected equipment, as shown in the figure below. When struck by lightning, the lightning current is discharged to the ground through the lightning branch of the surge protector, and the output voltage of the surge protector is limited to the resin allowed by the equipment safety.
