This series of 1300 ℃ high-temperature box type resistance furnaces are periodic operation electric furnaces. Using silicon carbon rods as heating elements, the rated temperature of the furnace is 1300 ℃. Used for high-temperature heating such as heat treatment, metal sintering, melting, and analysis of alloy steel in laboratories, industrial and mining enterprises, and scientific research institutions.

This series of resistance furnaces needs to be used in conjunction with KSY or ZK-3 temperature controllers and platinum rhodium platinum thermocouples for measuring, indicating, and automatically controlling the temperature of the electric furnace.

3、 Structure Introduction

This series of resistance furnace shells are made of thin steel plates that are folded and welded together. The furnace is composed of a box shaped integral lining made of high alumina refractory material. The heating element - silicon carbide rod is inserted into the furnace, with protective covers on both sides. The insulation layer between furnace lining and furnace shell is made of aluminum silicate fiber felt and high aluminum foam bricks.

The electric furnace door is fixed to the electric furnace panel through the long arm of multi-level hinges. The furnace door rotates flexibly. When closing, press or push the handle to fasten the door hook, and the furnace door can be tightly attached to the furnace mouth. When opening, simply lift the handle slightly upwards or inwards, unhook it, and place the furnace door on the side.

The thermocouple used for temperature measurement is inserted through the thermocouple hole and fixed with a fixed seat.

6、 Precautions for use

When the electric furnace is used again after * times of use or long-term disuse, it must be dried in an oven at room temperature――200 ℃ for 1 hour,

200℃――500 ℃ for 2 hours,

500℃――800 ℃ for 3 hours,

800℃――1200 ℃ for 2 hours,

2. In order to reduce heat loss during use, the gap between the thermocouple and the coupling hole, as well as the installation holes at both ends of the silicon carbide rod, should be filled with asbestos rope or asbestos fiber.

3. In order to protect and extend the service life of the electric furnace, the following precautions should be taken:

⑴ Regularly check whether the contact of each terminal is good.

⑵ When in use, the rated power shall not be exceeded, and the furnace temperature shall not exceed the high operating temperature. It is prohibited to load damp workpieces into the furnace, and heated workpieces containing excessive moisture should be dried in advance.

⑶ Keep the furnace clean and promptly remove metal oxides, slag, and impurities inside the furnace. Caution should be exercised when loading and unloading workpieces to prevent damaging the silicon carbide rods.
