Pellet feed crusher
The pellet feed crusher is a specialized equipment that crushes large pellet feed (Φ 3.0~Φ 6.0mm) into small pellets (Φ 1.6~Φ 2.5mm). Currently, the SSLG pellet crusher is widely used in the feed industry.
Functional purpose
When producing feed pellets, the material is first processed into larger particles using a feed pellet machine, and then crushed into the required feed pellets using a crusher according to the most suitable particle size for livestock and poultry feeding. This production method not only saves resources such as electricity, but also provides yield, making it the preferred granulation process for many feed manufacturers.
Structural characteristics
The feed crusher is mainly composed of a valve control device, a fast roller, a slow roller rolling distance adjustment mechanism, and a transmission department. Equipped with a rolling distance adjustment device to regulate the size of crushed particles and achieve optimal working conditions. There is a bypass device at the feeding point of the crusher. When it is not necessary to crush, the particles flow through the outside of the rolling mill and enter the screening and classification.
Working principle
During normal operation, pellet feed flows evenly and stably through the valve between two pressure rollers, and is crushed into small pellets after being subjected to shear and compression, and then discharged from the discharge port. When there is no need to crush the feed, the particles can flow through the outside of the rolling mill, which not only eliminates the trouble of disassembly, but also makes the crusher more suitable for the flow operation of the pellet production line.
