Vaisala BAROCAP ® The PTB110 barometer can be used for accurate atmospheric pressure measurement at room temperature, as well as for general environmental pressure monitoring with a wider temperature range.
Vaisala BAROCAP ® technology
PTB110 barometer adopts Vaisala BAROCAP ® Sensor, this is a silicon capacitive absolute pressure sensor developed by Vaisala for atmospheric pressure measurement applications. This sensor adopts a mature and reliable capacitive detection principle, while also possessing excellent elasticity and mechanical stability of single crystal silicon.
Accuracy and stability
The outstanding long-term stability of barometers minimizes the on-site calibration requirements in many application fields, and even eliminates the need for on-site calibration altogether.
Application scope
P T B 1 10 is suitable for various application fields, such as environmental pressure monitoring, data buoys, laser interferometers, agriculture, and hydrological measurement. Due to its low power consumption, the compact P T B110 is particularly suitable for data loggers. It also has external on/off control function. This feature is very practical when power supply is limited.
