The ozone aging chamber can be used for rubber products such as vulcanized rubber, thermoplastic rubber, cable edge sheaths, etc. Under static tensile deformation, the sample is exposed to air with a constant ozone concentration and a constant temperature test chamber in a closed and unlit environment. The test is conducted at a predetermined time to evaluate the ozone aging resistance of the rubber by detecting the degree of cracking or other performance changes that occur on the surface of the sample.

Technical parameter requirements:

1. Temperature range: RT+10~55 ℃

2. Temperature uniformity: ± 2 ℃

3. Temperature fluctuation: ± 0.5 ℃

4. Ozone concentration: 10PPHm~500PPHm

5. Ozone concentration deviation: ± 10%

6. Material rack rotation speed: 20-25mm/s

7. Sample tensile frequency: 0, 5 ± 0, 25H (this indicator is only applicable to dynamic ozone aging test chambers)

Requirements for ozone sample racks in practical applications:

1. Composed of several major components including the casing, electronic components, and ozone generator

2. Fix the two ends of the sample with a fixture under the required elongation, and when in contact with ozone air, the length direction of the sample should be basically parallel to the direction of the airflow

3. The fixture should be made of materials that are not easily decomposed by ozone, such as aluminum.

4. Rotate the sample at a speed between (20 ^ -25) mm/s, and move each sample continuously along the same path in a plane perpendicular to the dry airflow

5. The time for the same sample to rotate once is (8 ^ -12) minutes, and the scanning area of the sample (shaded area in Figure 2) is less than 40% of the effective area of the test chamber

6. The preparation of the sample shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9865.1. The sample should be cut from the newly molded test piece, and if necessary, it can be cut from the finished product. Sample shortage

7. Use 3 fewer samples for each experimental condition.

8. The width of the standard specimen for long strips shall not be less than 10mm, with a thickness of 2.0mm ± 0.2mm. The length of the specimen between the two ends of the fixture before stretching shall not be less than 40mm.
