Online sulfide analyzerIntroduction:
Blue spectrophotometric method
In an acidic solution containing high-speed iron ions, blue methylene blue dye is generated, and the color depth is proportional to the concentration of sulfur ions in the water sample. It is quantified by colorimetry at a wavelength of 665nm.
Online sulfide analyzerIodometric method
The sulfides in the water sample react with zinc acetate to form a white precipitate of zinc sulfide. After dissolving it in acid, excess iodine solution is added, and iodine reacts with sulfides to precipitate sulfur. The remaining iodine is titrated with a standard solution of sodium thiosulfate, and the content of sulfide is indirectly calculated based on the consumption of sodium thiosulfate solution
Direct colorimetric spectrophotometry
The sulfide is converted into gaseous hydrogen sulfide, which is absorbed by a "hydrogen sulfide absorption color reagent" and undergoes a color reaction. The method can be applied at 400nm for the determination of soluble H2S, HS -, S2- in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage, papermaking wastewater, petrochemical wastewater, coking wastewater, and printing and dyeing wastewater, as well as soluble sulfides and acid soluble metal sulfides present in particulate matter
