Requirements Analysis

The oil production area of the oilfield is vast, and oil productionThere are numerous machines, and oilfield management and production units need to collect real-time images of various instruments, sensors, and video surveillance at the wellhead through wireless means. The working pressure, oil recovery voltage, steam temperature and other data of the well are relatively small, but high reliability is required. RTU is often used for data collection, and then forwarded to the wireless network through a wireless router; In addition, the amount of video surveillance data for personnel safety and equipment status is large, requiring wireless transmission networks with large bandwidth and stable and reliable signals.


Solution

The data collection terminal RTU is responsible for collecting sensing data such as production status, pipeline pressure, and equipment temperature of wellhead oil production equipment. The wellhead position RTU is connected to the DTU through Ethernet/RS485/RS232 interface, and then connected to the LTE network through the DTU terminal. When RTU needs to report data, it directly sends the data to the interface connected to DTU, and DTU will send the received data to the data center server host intact. When the commands or data issued by the data center are transmitted to the DTU through the channel, the DTU sends the data to the RTU through the interface connected to the RTU, thus achieving bidirectional transparent transmission of data.

The system network management can achieve remote management, upgrade, and fault alarm of DTUs, and can realize a set of network management to monitor the status of DTUs, RTUs, and sensing devices, facilitating online management of oilfield operation centers.

Features of the Solution

By adopting wireless networking, the difficulty of scattered and remote oil fields has been solved, completely free from geographical and collection point constraints. Moreover, using public networks for networking is convenient and cost-effective;

Adopting a data center unified management networking approach, due to DTU's support for MODBUS protocol, network management can read the status of RTU devices and sensor devices, making it convenient to monitor the parameters of the entire network through a unified network management system;

Designed with high-performance industrial grade processors and security mechanisms such as watchdogs, the DTU device will automatically detect and power off and restart after communication interruption, ensuring that the DTU is always online and the communication link is always normal;

Adopting a multi center design, multiple monitoring and collection sites can be set up simultaneously to avoid safety hazards caused by unstable or closed central networks that prevent monitoring of the mine site;

Support remote network management to directly configure and upgrade network parameters, achieving reasonable utilization of time and manpower;

High specification material selection, can work normally in an environment of -40~70 º C and relative humidity of 95% (no condensation).
