The Nikon SMZ800N offers a higher zoom ratio than traditional models, enabling high-resolution observation of small structures. Combined with the new objective lens series, its improved chromatic aberration correction can provide clear and bright images throughout the entire field of view. Parallel optical design allows for the use of more ergonomic accessories and observation components.
Excellent basic performance
The SMZ800N has a zoom ratio of 8:1 (1-8 times zoom range) and can achieve a high resolution of 640LP/mm through a high numerical aperture objective lens (using ED Plan Apo 2x/WF at maximum zoom). The lens in the SMZ800N zoom body adopts a semi apochromatic optical system, which can achieve chromatic aberration correction throughout the entire field of view.
Multiple types of objective lenses
SMZ800N offers a variety of newly developed objective lenses. Multiple magnification and working distance objectives are available for selection. These include Plan ApoWF series objectives with high numerical aperture, high resolution, and large field of view. They have excellent flatness and color correction capabilities. In addition, 0.75x objective lenses can now be used, with a wider range of different magnification options available.
Using an objective lens converter for coaxial observation
The dual objective converter provides coaxial imaging, which enables precise measurement and depth of field extension (EDF) imaging at the bottom of the observation hole without distortion.
Ergonomic Design
The eyepiece observation tube with multiple tilt angles can be used for comfortable observation. They provide the best eye point design for each user. In addition, the ultra-thin transmission light base and LED transmission lighting base can easily observe the sample.
Various expansion accessories
