two. Working principle of digital rotary viscometer
The NDJ-8S digital rotary viscometer, controlled by a microcontroller, is an intelligent instrument with data acquisition, processing, and Chinese character display. The instrument controls the stepper motor to operate accurately and smoothly according to the set speed, and drives the rotor to rotate through the balance spring. When the rotor is not subjected to resistance, it rotates synchronously with the motor; When the rotor is subjected to the resistance of the measured liquid, its rotation will lag behind that of the motor. When the tension of the balance spring reaches equilibrium with the resistance of the liquid, the angle of the rotor lagging behind the motor is fixed. By measuring the opening angle and based on the set speed and rotor, the instrument calculates the viscosity of the measured liquid and displays it on the LCD screen. Compared with similar instruments, the NDJ-8S viscometer is not only easy to operate, stable in speed, high in measurement accuracy, and wide in working voltage range, but also has an automatic search function, which can search for the optimal rotor and speed required for measuring unknown samples.
