Introduction:
It is produced according to the technical standard requirements of the "Provisional Technical Conditions for Cement Emulsified Asphalt Mortar of CRTSII Type Plate Non ballasted Track for Passenger Dedicated Line Railway".

Used for high-speed railways, for fluidity detection, mixing, forming, and widely used in high-speed railway testing. It has been widely used in Qinhuangdao Shenyang Expressway, Beijing Shanghai Expressway, Wuhan Guangzhou Expressway, and Guangzhou Shenzhen High speed Railway. It is processed with brass, which is convenient to use and has accurate data. Instructions for use of flowability tester (funnel): flowability and working time are important indicators to ensure the quality of plate track and on-site grouting construction. After the emulsified asphalt is mixed with cement mortar, the curing process begins, and the viscosity of the mortar gradually increases, the flowability gradually decreases, and it finally solidifies.
To determine the flowability index, a specially designed funnel with a volume of 650ml was used for testing. The mixed mortar was injected into the funnel, and the time elapsed from opening the outlet until all the mortar flowed out was the flowability. Appropriate flowability is crucial for the performance and pouring quality of mortar. If the flowability is too small, the mortar material will segregate, affecting its strength and durability; If the flow is too large and the mortar is viscous, it is difficult to fill the space between the track board and the foundation tightly, which directly affects the quality of the pouring. Drawing on the flowability index of Japanese slab track and combining with a large number of experiments conducted in China in the early stage, including the results of the market scale injection test in the laboratory, the flowability index is determined to be between 16 and 26 seconds, which can meet the performance and injection requirements.
There are many factors that affect fluidity. Under certain mixing methods and feeding sequences, fluidity varies with temperature, additives, mix proportions of main raw materials, and water cement ratio.
The working time of CA mortar refers to the time it takes for the mortar to be within the specified range of fluidity. This time should be long enough not to affect the on-site grouting construction. Considering the transportation process prepared from the mortar mixing station and the time required for pouring operations on site, the specified working time shall not be less than 30 minutes.
The CA mortar flowability test face is carried out using the "funnel method", with a funnel volume of 640ml, an upper diameter of lining ф 70mm, a lower diameter of middle ф 10mm, and a height of 450mm. It is made of brass or stainless steel, and the prepared mortar is injected into the funnel. The outlet valve is opened and the timer is started. The time it takes for the mortar to flow out completely from the leak is the flowability of the mortar - t (measured in seconds). The test method for working time is the same as that for flowability, but the same sample is tested every 5 minutes and a flowability curve is plotted, which shows the corresponding relationship between flowability and cumulative time (as shown in Figure 2).
