working principle
MMS consists of a casing with a protection level of IP54 and three additional 2M series measurement modules.
The concentration of NOx sample gas in NOx module ① is determined by chemiluminescence method. The chemiluminescence reaction is the reaction between ozone and NO to generate the excited state NO2. When NO2 returns to its ground state, it emits photons whose intensity is proportional to the flow rate of NO2 entering the temperature controlled reaction chamber. The photon intensity is detected by a photomultiplier tube.
The concentration of O3 in module 2 is determined by UV absorption method. The different absorption of UV by the sample gas and zero gas without O3 (obtained through a catalyst remover) is obtained.
CO optional CO2 module ③ The concentration of CO sample gas is determined using the principle of infrared gas filtration correlation method.
