Product details

Purified water machine [1] is a device used to meet the needs of various industries for producing purified water, mainly used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The entire system is also made of all stainless steel materials and must be equipped with a sterilization device before the water point is used. We have designed a targeted set of high-purity water treatment processes using the latest technologies such as reverse osmosis and EDI to meet the water requirements for purified water production and large infusion production in pharmaceutical factories and hospitals.

Introduction to the main unit functions of the equipment

Multi-media filter
Most multi-media filter tanks are filled with filter media such as quartz sand, anthracite, and manganese sand. Its main function is to reduce water turbidity and remove a large amount of bacteria, viruses, organic matter, etc. from water. This has created favorable conditions for the subsequent disinfection process. Manganese sand has a significant removal effect on iron and manganese.

Activated carbon filter tank
Activated carbon has a large number of micropores and a huge specific surface area, and has extremely strong physical adsorption capacity. It can effectively adsorb impurities in water, especially organic matter and microorganisms. The oxygen-containing catalytic oxidation and chemical adsorption functions formed on the surface of activated carbon can remove some metal ions from water. Activated carbon has a strong adsorption effect on residual chlorine in water, which protects downstream stainless steel equipment and pipeline surfaces and meets the inlet requirements of subsequent water treatment units.

Automatic recoil and regeneration softening tank
Fill the softening tank with sodium cation exchange resin. Through the ion exchange reaction of resin, the hardness of water is reduced, preventing calcium and magnesium ions from binding with carbonate and sulfate ions and scaling in subsequent water treatment equipment or pipelines.

Precision filter
Precision filters, also known as security filters, typically have a filtration accuracy of 5 μ m. Its function is to intercept all substances with a particle size greater than 5 μ m to meet the inlet requirements of reverse osmosis.

counter-infiltration system
The key to the application of reverse osmosis technology lies in the performance of the reverse osmosis membrane that plays a role in desalination. Reverse osmosis membrane is a semi permeable membrane that only allows water molecules to pass through and does not allow solutes to pass through. In addition to applying the principles of reverse osmosis, reverse osmosis technology also utilizes the selective adsorption of membranes and the screening mechanism for organic matter. The pore size of reverse osmosis membranes is mostly less than or equal to 10 × 10-10m, and their separation targets are organic compounds in the ionic range and molecular weight of several hundred in the solution. It can filter out various bacteria, such as one of the smallest bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa (3000 × 10-10m), as well as various viruses, such as influenza virus (800 × 10-10m), meningitis virus (200 × 10-10m), and even pyrogen (10-500 × 10-10m). This is a matter of great concern for pharmaceutical water.
Due to its simple operation process and high desalination efficiency, reverse osmosis has become the preferred water treatment unit in pharmaceutical process water due to its high ability to remove heat and is also relatively economical. Reverse osmosis technology is not only used in the preparation process of purified water, but can also be used to produce water with injection water quality. The United States Pharmacopeia has included this method as one of the legal methods for preparing injection water since the 19th edition

Sterilization system
A、 The orderly combination of oxygen and ultraviolet radiation is used for disinfection/sterilization. Ozone is a strong oxidant, ranking second only to fluorine in terms of oxidation ability among natural elements. Ozone can oxidize and decompose glucose oxidase, which is necessary for the internal oxidation of glucose in bacteria. It can also directly interact with bacteria and viruses to destroy cells, ribonucleic acids, and break down large molecular polymers such as DNA, RNA, proteins, lipids, and polysaccharides, disrupting the metabolic growth and reproduction processes of bacteria. It has significant effects on odor removal, decolorization, sterilization, removal of phenols, cyanide, iron, manganese, and reduction of COD, BOD, etc. in water treatment. Ultraviolet radiation can reduce the rate of new colony formation in the pre-treatment system of water systems, and the 254nm ultraviolet lamp located after ozone can be used for both disinfection and removal of residual ozone.
B、 Circulating reflux to prevent bacterial growth. The pre-treatment system, water production system, and water use system in the purified water system are equipped with circulating water circuits, which are used during holidays or evenings when water is not in use; When the purified water tank is full; When the conductivity of the effluent exceeds the standard, the water in each system should maintain a certain degree of circulation, and if necessary, ultraviolet or ozone/ultraviolet sterilization should be supplemented to prevent bacterial growth.
