Purpose:
The MQ-301 handheld multi probe photosynthetically active radiation meter adopts a special rod design, integrating 10 photosynthetically active radiation (photon) probes on a 70cm long probe rod. It can measure linear photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) or photon flux (PPF) at wavelengths of 410nm~655nm, providing very important data support for crop growth research. Very suitable for use in fields such as farms, flower cultivation, and greenhouses.
The pole probe equipped on MQ-301 has waterproof capability, and crops do not need to move the probe during sprinkler irrigation. There is also a horizontal bubble at the end of the probe, which facilitates the correct placement of the probe to ensure the accuracy of measurement data. At the same time, you can also choose AL-210 stainless steel leveling bracket for the MQ-301 recorder.
The MQ series handheld photosynthetically available radiometer can be used to measure photosynthetically available radiation (PAR) at 410~655nm. It has data recording function and can record 99 manual measurement data. In automatic mode, the measuring instrument will measure every 30 seconds and store the average value every 30 minutes. At the same time, it can also calculate the mean of daily data and store up to 99 daily averages. Its built-in display screen allows you to obtain measurement data in a timely manner. Through the AC-100 data cable, you can easily import the data stored in the measuring instrument into your computer.
In daily use, radiation entering the sensor at low angles is often reflected off, resulting in underestimated values. Therefore, Apogee's radiation sensor adopts an arc-shaped top design to receive more low angle incident radiation and reduce cosine response errors.
The innovative blue lens used in the MQ series handheld photosynthetically active radiometer can reduce the measurement error of sunlight (direct radiation, scattered radiation, or plant canopy reflected radiation, etc.) and electronic light sources such as fluorescent lamps, metal halide lamps, and high-pressure sodium lamps to within 5%, effectively improving the accuracy of the sensor. The measurement error for LED light sources (blue, green, red, cool white, neutral white, and warm white) is also less than 10%. In addition, the light quantum probe used in the MQ series adopts a waterproof design, which can be used normally even in humid, rainy, and even underwater environments (except for the MQ-100).
