7703 is a 2-channel, 5000V coil turn to turn short circuit tester (coil pulse tester) that provides a non-destructive way to test coil interlayer short circuits. The minimum inductance value that can be tested is 0.5uH. It can amplify high-frequency resonant waves and avoid the problem of inter layer short circuits in the coil. When a slight corona phenomenon occurs between the layers of the coil, it will produce resonant waves with small amplitude and high frequency (>10MHz). Under general inter layer short circuit testing techniques, only small jumps can be observed, and the problem cannot be truly detected. MICROTEST 7703 utilizes the 'High Frequency Harmonic Analysis HARM' technology to amplify and display high-frequency harmonics on the screen. The instrument can identify subtle interlayer discharges based on their amplitude, ensuring the coil quality of each component.
