NIST traceability
The MeriamLs pocket sized M1500 analog or digital pressure transmitter is an ideal choice for meeting the full range measurement requirements from 10 "H20 to 3000 PSI. Output options include digital formats (RS-232, RS-485, and USB) or similar forms (milliampere or VDC). Choose from differential pressure (dry/dry or wet/wet), gauge pressure, composite pressure, or absolute pressure varieties, as detailed in the table below.
Considering all the effects including linearity, repeatability, hysteresis, and temperature changes from minus 20 degrees Celsius to plus 20 degrees Celsius (minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit to plus 122 degrees Fahrenheit), a typical NIST traceable digital accuracy is 0.025% of the full range.
M1500 transmits precise pressure test data to compatible digital output selection devices. Choosing RS-232 as the single output format or RS-485 to connect to a device network using the 255 format M1500 is done through terminal blocks or DB-9 serial ports. The USB digital communication option can also provide power to the M1500 through a high-power USB interface or a powered USB hub
The software is included in the initial setup and support process. Meriam Serial Protocol (MSP) or Meriam DLL can be used to send and receive information. The implementation guidelines can be obtained at www.meriam.com (see Resources/Application Notes section)
Analog output mode can also be used. Users can configure the M1500 output to 0 to 5 VDC or 4-20mA.
Two SPST photoelectric switches are included. The simulation unit uses a Meriam setting utility included with the USB Mini A Connector to configure the program, which supports configuration initialization, zeroing, recalibration, and other functions.
As for the requirement for a wider pressure range, the M1502, which supports digital output, contains two pressure sensors. The combination use of most AI or CI type pressure sensors is supported. Refer to the table below to understand these ranges. M1502 has RS-232, RS-485, or USB digital format output and does not provide analog output. A single software instruction returns two pressure readings. When multiple pressure measurements are required, M1502 reduces the purchase price and installation cost.
On site calibration: All M1500 transmitters can be calibrated on-site using applicable standards and Meriam facility settings.

DN sensor: When only applying pressure on P1 (HI), the range is doubled. When applying pressure on both P1 (HI) and P2 (LO) sides simultaneously, the range is 150 PSI.

EPI/Embedded Pressure Gauge
EPI TM is a fully compensated instrument that can measure applied pressure and provide accurate, fully characterized digital outputs. The Meriam M1500 pressure transmitter and other pressure products from Meriam are powered by EPln. This ensures that you can obtain a high-precision device. The equipment has an accuracy of ± 0.025% FS or higher, and includes the comprehensive effects of linearity, repeatability, hysteresis, and temperature within the operating temperature range. The American standard technology traceability certificate is the standard. The EPIn samples 14 accurate pressure readings per second.

Firmware Features
The programming functions supported by Meriam Serial Protocol (MSP) include: pressure reset to zero, factory parameter reset to zero, sensor damping, pressure unit selection, analog output range setting (high detector value, low detector value), calibration on/off, on-site recalibration, PROD (precise right decimal), AROD decimal (precise to decimal), and obtaining/setting baud rate.
The following information commands can be obtained through the Meriam Serial Protocol (MSP): serial number, pressure module level and type, firmware version, LSL (sensor lower limit), USL (sensor upper limit), instrument temperature, primary and secondary variable values, primary and secondary minimum/maximum.
The following programming functions can be accessed through LabVIEW ® VI model acquisition: pressure zeroing, sensor damping, pressure unit selection, PROD (decimal accuracy), AROD (decimal accuracy), obtaining/setting baud rate.
The following information command is obtained through LabVIEW ® V's model supports: S / N, Description, tag number, asset number, firmware version, primary (and secondary, if applicable) variable values (S), primary (and secondary, if applicable) minimum/maximum values (multiple), instrument temperature.
