ACR122U NFC reader is a connected contactless smart card reader developed based on 13.56 MHz contactless (RFID) technology. It complies with the ISO/IEC 18092 Near Field Communication (NFC) standard and supports Mifare ® Cards, ISO 14443 A-class and B-class cards, and all four types of NFC tags.

Due to its compliance with CCID and PC/SC standards, ACR122U is a plug and play USB device that can interact with various devices and applications. It adopts a USB full speed interface (12 Mbps), with an access speed of up to 424kbps, allowing for faster and more efficient read and write operations. In addition, the operating distance of ACR122U can reach 5 centimeters, depending on the type of non-contact label.

To improve security level, ACR122U can be integrated with ISO 7816-3 SAM card slot for use. In addition, the ACR122U NFC reader can also be provided in the form of a module, making it easy to integrate into larger devices such as POS terminals, access control systems, and vending machines.

The ACR122U NFC reader is an ideal product for personal identity security authentication and online small payment transactions. It can be widely used in applications such as access control, electronic payments, electronic ticketing (for large-scale events and public transportation), highway toll collection, and network authentication.

ACR122U can be equipped with an optional base. By placing the reader at the optimal angle, users can easily swipe contactless cards or NFC devices on the ACR122U.
