Leica LED5000 MCI, a multi contrast illumination system for Leica M-series stereomicroscopes, integrates 3 illumination arcs that can be adjusted to a 90 ° angle. Leica LAS software allows for the restoration of the true color of the sample at all brightness levels without the need for halogen lighting in yellow tones, and provides up to 50000 hours of bright daylight quality with flicker free LED lighting, making the eyes very comfortable.
No additional white balance is required. Combined with Leica LAS software, this lighting becomes part of the automation system and lighting settings, can be stored together with images, is easy to reproduce, and has higher productivity.
