Product Introduction of Kuhn PS 270 Vertical Fertilization Machine

The all-new Kuhn Knight PS 270 ProSpread ® The manure spreader is a large capacity spreader designed specifically for breeders, cows/calves, and dairy farm operations, capable of handling a variety of semi-solid and solid materials. This machine combines excellent appearance and construction with outstanding performance, and provides support through rigorous testing and user feedback. The 10 degree sidewall taper increases capacity while still maintaining loading simplicity and device operability. The brand new gate has stronger measurement and material flow management capabilities. The two-piece polyethylene bottom plate and double skirt plate can ensure that the material flows consistently and reliably to the scattering unit. The improved position of the spreading unit provides an enhanced fertilizer spreading mode by simplifying the material flow from the skirt to the spreading unit. In addition, the optional weighing system can be used for precise monitoring and application tracking.

Heavy duty gate

Heavy duty gates enhance material measurement control and material flow management capabilities. The new design reduces the possibility of material flow problems, such as material dumping or hanging, by eliminating the protruding guide rails from the box and increasing the opening height.

VERTISPREAD ® Vertical scattering unit

The PS 270 is equipped with a vertical throwing unit. The VertiSpread vertical spreader unit provides high-quality fertilizer application performance for various materials. These units aim to spread 10-11 meters of material at a rate of 1-5 tons per acre. In order to improve material flow, the throwing unit on PS270 is positioned further forward and closer to the skirt board. The standard configuration of the mixer includes a 5/8 "(approximately 1.59 cm) steel scraper and fully hardened steel teeth fastened with bolts, achieving excellent strength and durability as well as consistent and long-lasting fertilizing effects.

Two piece polyethylene base plate

The two-piece 5/8 "(approximately 1.59 cm) polyethylene bottom plate improves strength and durability compared to traditional bottom plates, while reducing friction. The two-piece split design enhances impact resistance when loading heavy objects into the spreader. The bottom plate has a durability of up to 10 years.

Double skirt design

The 667XH pivot skirt chain has increased strength and is easy to maintain, equipped with heavy-duty self-cleaning sprockets welded onto a 2 "(approximately 5.08 cm) steel shaft. The hydraulic driven direct drive gearbox provides reliable power and reduces maintenance costs.

Side wall taper

The new sidewall taper can increase the stacking capacity without increasing the overall size of the machine. This design makes it easy to load even with wider buoyancy tires. The new design also allows for the support of side walls through fewer but more robust external columns.
