This RTV silicone rubber is a neutral transparent single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber that absorbs moisture from the air and solidifies at room temperature. It has the characteristics of no pollution, no corrosion, aging resistance, moisture resistance, electrical insulation, and excellent arc resistance, and has good adhesion performance. It can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -60 ℃ to 200 ℃, with stable performance. It is mainly used as a filling seal for electronic components, providing moisture resistance, sealing, and earthquake resistance, thus achieving stable performance.

Purpose:

Due to its transparent elastic state after curing, this RTV silicone rubber can be used for bonding and sealing optical materials that require transparency. Additionally, due to its adhesive properties, it can be used for potting and sealing small electronic components and output transformers in the television industry, providing moisture resistance, sealing, and shock resistance to achieve stable performance. It can be used as a protective coating for controllable silicon countertops, transparent adhesive sealing for optical instruments, moisture-proof sealing protective coatings for electronic and communication instruments, internal coatings and protective coatings for transistors and silicon diodes, etc.
Usage:
After general cleaning of the components, cut open the pointed mouth on the tube mouth, squeeze out the glue, and apply adhesive for bonding. At room temperature of 25 ℃ and humidity of 50%, the curing depth is 2-3 millimeters after 24 hours. If the bonding area is large and the adhesive layer is thick, the curing time will be longer, and the longer the storage time at room temperature, the better the bonding effect. Temperature resistant components can be dried at any temperature between 50 ℃ and 150 ℃ for 4-12 hours after the adhesive layer is completely cured, achieving better strength and bonding effect.
Notes:
1. For temperature resistant components, they can be cured at room temperature first, and then treated in a damp oven at 50-100 ℃ for 4-8 hours to remove low molecular weight substances and fully cure to ensure the performance of the adhesive.
2. When using RTV silicone rubber for sealing, the thickness of the first accumulation should not be too large. If it is ≥ 3mm, a layered pouring and gradual vulcanization method can be used. The thicker the rubber liquid accumulation, the longer the complete curing time. After use, the RTV silicone rubber should be tightly covered and can be stored for reuse.
